It seems crazy that the staff at our national museum, Te Papa, hadn’t found it already but, would you believe, Otis uncovered a complete Mosasaur skeleton in their sandpit!? Nuts!

We didn’t tell them. We figured they’ll realise soon enough because of the information sign about mosasaurs right next to the sandpit 😉

Haha, I wasn’t sure whether you were joking or not! Yeah, it is a cast concrete fossil for children to practise their palaeontology on. Otis believed it though, which was cool cause he’s a pretty switched-on guy.
