Life whizzes by, and babies who needed sleep every couple of hours but never would turn into boys who only need a Mittagsschlaf (thankyouthankyouthankyou), and then into bigger boys who don’t nap at all, but can be found, every now and then, zonked out on the couch when you thought they were just reading.
The other night Elliott refused to stay in bed at bedtime, and I had no energy left in me to be the consistent parent, so he curled up on the couch under a blanket and happily drifted off to sleep. There are worse things I could do.
I’ve set myself a personal challenge to draw every day for 100 days. There are no other rules – I can make my drawings as simple or as complex as I like. Join me if you’d like!
